**Job Purpose**:
- the post holder will be required to work on a clinical trial aiming to test the functionality and impact of a newly developed automated inhaler technique with real-time feedback for patients who use metered dose inhalers (MDI), as compared with patient controls following standard care practice (24-week intervention trial). The trial will involve online screening and data collection using electronic software for data collection and face-to-face appointments (at baseline, 12 and 24 weeks) at either a) the participant¿s own GP practice in the WHSCT or NHSCT areas, the Human Intervention Study Unit at UU Coleraine campus, or a research facility site in Derry/Londonderry. Data collection will include a range of measures including blood samples, anthropometry, spirometry, and questionnaires.-
