We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a cheerful young girl who lives at home with her loving family in Dudley and requires support throughout the day and night with her complex care needs.

She loves the interaction and spending quality time with her family and care team and engaging in her favourite activities.

She enjoys accessing lots of different community-based activities and spending days out with her family and care team. This includes going swimming, shopping, trips to the cinema and visiting the zoo.

Time at home is spent doing lots of fun things with her carers including, messy play, drawing and playing with interactive & sensory based toys. She also likes to be pampered and have her nails painted; pink and bright colours are her favourite.

Throughout the day you will provide support with her personal care, Moving and handling, attending to her clinical care needs when required and assisting her to enjoy her hobbies and interests.

Throughout the night you will provide support with her personal care, repositioning, clinical observations, attending to her needs when required and promoting a peaceful environment to support a restful night’s sleep.

She is unable to communicate verbally and communicates through facial expressions, sounds and the use of eye gaze. It is important that her care team become familiar with her methods of communication to ensure her needs and wants are met.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Respiratory experience

**Desirable Experience**
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
- Oxygen administration
- Saturation Monitoring
- Oral Suctioning
- Nebuliser Care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full Time and Part Time
- Days
- 2- 3 shifts per week
- 10:00am - 6.00pm
- Every Saturday 10:00am - 6:00pm
- Ad hoc Nights
- 7:30pm
- 8:30am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £104 per 8-hour shift)

Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £175.50 per 13-hour shift)

Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £182 per 13-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £201.50 per 13-hour shift)
