An experienced Accounts Payable Clerk is needed for a 12 month FTC at a well-known retail and e-commerce business.

The role is based in Central London and is a hybrid model of working.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for:

- Management of incoming invoices, including logging and obtaining appropriate approvals
- Timely and accurate posting of all invoices to meet payment terms
- Ensuring all processed invoices are scanned and attached to invoice entries
- Supporting Treasury Teams on Vendor queries as necessary
- Working with Internal and External stakeholders to resolve Supplier queries
- Producing weekly multi-currency payment runs and urgent one-off payment files
- Reconciliation of Supplier statements.
- Posting ADI upload on behalf of other Finance teams.
- Completing Vendor bank detail Fraud controls, updating Oracle system when necessary.
- Other ad hoc duties

The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk will:

- Have solid Accounts Payable experience
- Previous experience in retail or e-commerce desirable
- Experience using Oracle or similar ERP package
- Proficient with Excel
- Ability to work at pace with high volumes and maintain accuracy
- Capable of prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated with ability to pick things up quickly, great use of initiative and eagerness to learn more
- Clear communicator, with ability to work with finance and non-finance associates
- Support the development of processing to drive continuous improvement in controls, accuracy and efficiency

You must have a notice period of 2 weeks or less to be suitable for this role.
