**Job Duties**

The Apprentice will mainly work for the Accounts department. When they come into the office either the accounts manager or office manager will allocate them a client’s records to write up that day.
- Attend to getting those records written up in each timeframe.
- Gather the records and organise the invoices and bank statements into monthly order.
- Input the data onto our accounting software so that the Accounts are ready to be reconciled.
- Let the Accounts team know that the Accounts are ready to be finalised.
- In the future they will be given more responsibility on a regular basis building their knowledge and competence in accountancy.

They must follow a similar procedure when working with the VAT department. They will be provided a list of records that need to be completed during this month. They then will organise these into date order and input the data onto the software. If there are any queries that need to be raised, they make notes for the relevant manager so that we are aware of any issues.

**What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship**

The right apprentice will work towards a highly recognised level 3 qualification. After completion of the AAT Accounting Apprenticeship, a full time position may be offered.

**Apprenticeship Details**

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience. Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 AAT qualification.
