We believe in better. And we make it happen.

Better content. Better products. And better careers.

Working in Tech, Product or Data at Sky is about building the next and the new. From broadband to broadcast, streaming to mobile, SkyQ to Sky Glass, we never stand still. We optimise and innovate.

We turn big ideas into the products, content and services millions of people love.

And we do it all right here at Sky.

As an E2E Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for owning end-2-end scope for large portfolio initiatives that are fundamental to the success of Sky Business vision. You will grow strong working relationships with senior business stakeholders and work with them to clearly document and communicate the ‘What’ and ‘Why’, as well as work with your colleagues within the architecture domain to articulate the ‘How’.

As an E2E Technical Product Owner you will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and energetic, relentlessly looking to find ways to better our Sky Business products and services. You will also need to work closely with our customers, partners, sales, service, and engineering teams to guide initiatives and features from ideas to releases. This will include understanding key customer journeys and processes, identifying gaps and pain points, which in return well help you propose solutions that will deliver real business value. A key part of the E2E Technical Product Owner role is being able to translate business needs into capabilities that can be clearly understood by both the business and technical development teams (scrum teams) and build key working relationships with product analysts to ensure the integrity of the solution.

You will also be expected to support the Portfolio Technical Product Owner to build and grow the team. This will include supporting and developing the team as well as actively contributing to ways of working and continuous improvement.

What you'll do
- Drive the execution of the business vision & roadmap by owning and defining initiative E2E business and technical scope that will be utilised by all impacted teams.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders to define E2E scope and produce the Product, Proposition, Customer Experience & Enterprise requirements (in the form of epics)
- Proactively manage the portfolio backlog (or value stream backlog that you oversee) to ensure alignment on prioritises with the Portfolio Technical Product Owner & Portfolio Management Team
- Ensure business asks provide value and delivers a complete customer experience by relentlessly seeking to understand the needs and pains of the customer and business (Analysing data to justify value-based decision)
- Build a strong working relationship with E2E Delivery and Architecture to ensure planning coordination and complete alignment on proposed solutions.
- Ensure integrity of the solution scope throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Present initiative E2E scope outputs to leadership teams highlighting business value and potential challenges or constraints that might impact the business case. Champion E2E scope and be seen as the 'Go to Person’.

What you'll bring
- Significant experience of owning the E2E scope of programme initiatives, driving the delivery of the ask from initiation to completion.
- Significant experience in an analysis-based role.
- Experience driving forward initiative programmes, removing pipeline bottlenecks to ensure overall success.
- Experience working with 3rd party partners to support the implementation of business asks and solutions.
- Knowledge of agile frameworks, particularly SAFe and scrum, and experience of supporting framework adoption.
- Experience presenting E2E scope and solutions to senior stakeholders (up to and including Director level)
- Ideally line managed others or have significant experience mentoring and supporting the development of other analysts or product owners.
