Anderson Brookes are one of the fastest growing Insolvency Practices in the UK. We are looking to add **3 Trainee Accountants** to our Corporate Insolvency team based in Adlington.

The role will involve an intensive period of on-the-job training, aimed at giving you a thorough understanding of the corporate insolvency process. Over your initial 12-months, you will be trained to take control of the Administrative tasks on a corporate case load, client onboarding through to case closure.

**Under the Supervision of a Qualified Chartered Accountant & Insolvency Practitioner - You will learn to**:

- Use cloud-based case management software
- Carry out conflict checks
- Set up new insolvency cases
- Prepare a wide range of legal documents
- Complete AML (money laundering) checklists
- Ensure compliance standards are maintained
- Liaise with Company Directors in relation to their case
- Progress cases through to closure in a timely manner

**AAT Qualification - Fully Funded Training**

In addition to the practical, work-based training you receive at Anderson Brookes, you will also be enrolled on to a fully funded AAT Accountancy course with our external training partners. You will complete AAT levels 2, 3 and 4. *Depending on your existing experience and qualifications, exemptions from level 2 and 3 may be available. Once AAT level 4 has been completed, you will be recognised as a fully qualified Accountant.

Our training providers will facilitate all tutoring, mentoring, course materials and exam preparation training needed. You will be given time to attend group learning sessions, personalised one-to-ones, and exams during your normal (paid) working hours

AAT is only the start We are looking for Trainee Accountants that want to build a long-term career with Anderson Brookes. Beyond completion of the AAT qualification, we are keen to support successful applicants through ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountancy) exams, or CPI / JIEB insolvency exams

**About You...**

Successful applicants must also demonstrate the following:

- A minimum of 3 A-Levels (or equivalent)
- GCSE grade 4 (C) or above, in Maths and English
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Strong IT skills - ideally, familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A problem-solving attitude
- Attention to detail

**Alternative to University**

**The Package Offered**

In addition to the fully funded AAT training course, you will be paid a guaranteed basic salary. You will also become eligible for the bonus scheme after a qualifying period.
- Year one salary £12,480 pa to £14,000 pa
- Year two salary £16,770 pa to £22,316 pa - plus bonuses
- 28 days paid holiday (inc. bank holidays)
