An exciting opportunity for an editor, deputy editor, content writer or experienced assistant editor to join a growing magazine with a thriving community. Since 2018, Startups Magazine has established a name within the entrepreneurial industry generating a large and engaged following.

The role is varied and would suit an outgoing journalist with an interest in technology, design, marketing and overall business development.

The role would include:

- Managing the content and layout of the publication, every other month
- Meeting with and encouraging contributions from the startups industry network
- Working with the editorial team to promote an interest in upcoming technologies and electronics
- Working with the marketing team for regular events in London and on occasion internationally, including speaking, hosting panel discussions and covering talks and announcements on the website
- Working with the sales team to generate interest in media services
- Managing daily content on the website and press releases sent to the publication
- Representing the company at a number of events, including international travel

Preferrable skills:

- Public Speaking
- Copywriting and Proof-reading
- Layout skills and experience with Adobe InDesign

Not essential skills for the role:

- Hubspot
- Adobe illustrator

This is an office-based role in Laddingford, Kent. It is a remote location and requires a car to access. The office is 15 team members in day-to-day. Benefits include:
