Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing fixtures, appliances, and furniture.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Install, assemble, and disassemble various items as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major repairs or replacements needed.
- Maintain hotels grounds
- Conducting fire alarm checks weekly, recording this each time
- Conducting monthly task set out by the Health and Safety Manager
- Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing
- Painting, decorating and/ or conducting repairs to flooring and other fittings
- Ensuring rooms are maintained and fully equipped
- To follow the companies’ policies and procedures
- Monthly room and building checks to identify and address any issues.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance processes and techniques.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and other team members.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
