**Virgo Health** is a specialist health communications agency, part of the GOLIN group and the wider IPG network of companies with more than 200 offices around the world as well as hubs in London, New York and Chicago.

The Health Education team is a specialist division focusing on medical education. We work across a diverse range of therapeutic areas including vaccines and infectious diseases, multiple sclerosis, nephrology, rheumatology, dermatology and rare diseases. Our programmes span the spectrum from pre

**What is the role?**

As an associate director in the company, you will be responsible for leading one of our key global medical education accounts. You will ensure the account team as a whole—both client and scientific services—is running efficiently and effectively to deliver client work in a timely manner while upholding the highest of standards. You will ensure that client work is delivered within project briefs and the allocated budget. You will be the senior day-to-day account lead and point of client contact, and will proactively cultivate the client relationship, and seek new business opportunities in line with their strategic objectives and vision.

**What are we looking for?**
- A medical communications career spanning a minimum of 10 years
- Currently an associate director or an experienced Senior Account Director within a medical communications agency
- Minimum of a BSc in biomedical sciences
- Experience of working on fast-paced global accounts
- Experience in global congress work (both symposia and booths)
- Excellent people management skills, both team and client
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial acumen
