We have a new opportunity for a qualified and experienced CBT Therapist in our well established, innovative Talking Therapies service as a Quality and Recovery Lead. We need someone to lead in supporting and developing quality improvement initiatives at step 3. You will utilise your expertise to develop understanding and strategies to enhance clinical outcomes at step 3 and to coordinate recovery deep dives and action plans arising from these. You will support the development of clinical supervisors through CPD and supervision of supervision and coordinate training sessions for step 3 resulting from strategies, deep dives, and actions plans, as part of the quality improvement initiatives.

You will provide a qualified specialist assessment and therapy service to adults as part of the IAPT ‘Talking Therapies’ service for 3 days a week and carry out the Quality and Recovery focussed work over the remaining 2 days.

The role will be based at Fitzwilliam House, Bracknell although there is an expectation that there will be a mixture of home working, working from base and on occasion travel across Berkshire to meet services demands.
- Utilise clinical and managerial skills to lead and motivate the step 3 teams to ensure the provision of effective, high-quality services that take into account individual service user needs and meet required standards of care.
- To support and develop quality improvement initiatives at step 3 to support clinical recovery and to ensure compliance with new evidence-based practice and guidance as it emerges and to work closely with the Oxford AHSN.
- To develop meaningful engagement with service users utilising evidence-based information to promote recovery during the early phases of illness; this includes periodic attendance at patient forum meetings (Friends of Talking Therapies).
- To develop and coordinate local S3 CBT training sessions resulting from quality improvement initiatives
- To provide a specialist assessment and therapy service based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources, including psychological assessments, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and in direct structured observations as well as interviews with clients.

You will be required to work flexibly to cover the service hours of 8am - 8pm Monday -Thursday and 8am - 5pm Friday. This will include one evening a week plus any other evening when covering groups or courses or as required by the service.

**The 3“must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:
1. Qualification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to post graduate diploma level AND British Association of Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapy accreditation.

Or

Qualification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to post graduate diploma level AND Professional qualification in health or social care, e.g. RMN, Social Worker or equivalent.

AND British Association of Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapy accreditation.

Or

Professional qualification in health or social care, e.g. Counselling Psychologist/ RMN/ Social Worker or equivalent

AND Recognised Accredited Qualification in Counselling (CFD)/ IPT/ DIT.

1. A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of specialist therapy assessment and treatment of clients in Adult Mental Health

1. Clearly demonstrable significant increase in depth and breadth or knowledge in relation to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy/Counselling theory and

practice beyond the level of postgraduate diploma.
