Support Worker/Relief Support Worker/Night Support Worker - Pickering - £10.70 per hour
Do you want to work for an outstanding organisation. We don’t need you to have experience as we will give you all the training and more that you will need. The people we support would like someone to work in their home who is kind, caring, and enthusiastic about life and have a good sense of humour. They all lead active lives and would like your support to be able to try new things and enjoy the activities they presently do. They also need support with household and the day to day activities like cooking and cleaning, but of course this is their home and they like to do this. There are some support requirements with all aspects of personal care. We prompt people to manage their own personal care and provide physical assistance, from a small team of support workers. One thing we can guarantee is you wont be bored, as every day is different.

Each hour worked at the weekend, beginning from the start time of the waking night shift on the Friday until the end of the waking night shift on the Monday morning, will include a £1.00 per hour weekend enhancement.
Travel costs for attending an interview will be reimbursed up to a value of £10 where receipts are provided.
We have various posts including 60 hours (per 4 weeks), 100 hours (per 4 weeks). Please speak to us about hours you are looking for.
We are looking for:
Enthusiastic and positive people to join the small teams in our 6 homes in Pickering.
As a support worker you will:
Enable people with a learning disability to have an extraordinary life. We encourage people to be in control of their own lives through an approach called Active Support.
Because of our high staffing ratio, you will be able to spend quality time with people, supporting them with activities in the community, including swimming, horse riding, shopping and meeting friends, going to the pub and local restaurants and much, much more
Previous experience is not needed, we provide full training and support throughout your time with us, enabling you to develop skills and create long lasting relationships.
