Job Purpose Support the Crèche and provide care to children attending the crèche, ensuring the provision of a safe and secure environment where children are stimulated, engaged and learn through structured play.

**Job Tasks/Duties**
- Deputises for and supports the Crèche Manager upholding Club policies and quality standards.
- Ensures that ratios of qualified team are in line with Ofsted recommendations when in supervisory duty.
- Motivates, leads and inspires the Crèche Assistants to deliver safe, hygienic and high-quality crèche services at the Club; actively guides them and ensures that they are comfortable with all tasks they are asked to perform.
- When supervising, ensures that the crèche setting is clean, safe and fully compliant with The Club Company’s regulatory and organisational guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Supports the Fitness Manager in monitoring and evaluating the crèche programmes in line with identified objectives.
- Keeps abreast of latest developments in the childcare field and collects associated learning resources and applies learnings and best practice to children after consulting with the Crèche Manager.
- Complies with organisational policies and procedures whilst actively promoting the principles of equal opportunities and working in a manner that maintains a safe, healthy and supportive environment for team and children at all times.
- Helps develop the creche by introducing new initiatives and services.
- Helps develop an environment where parents feel comfortable leaving their child in the crèche, and their needs and anxieties are understood and responded to sensitively by crèche team.
- Ensures that customer feedback and complaints are handled promptly and professionally, with serious issues referred to the Crèche Manager.
- To ensure a high degree of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company’s dress and appearance policy.
- To be a positive ambassador for the Company’s CARE values at all times.

**Education and/or Experience**
- Minimum of a Level 3 in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equiv.
- Experience working in a crèche, childcare or nursery environment.

**Licenses and Special Requirements**
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
