We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Highland Parcels team in Oban. Our team are responsible for delivering world-class service and time critical parcels to our customers located throughout Scotland.

Joining our team, you will play an integral part in the efficient day to day operations. You will work closely with our leadership to create a customer-centric environment where no two days often provide the same challenge.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage allocation of routes for employees & contractors
- Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
- Maintain quality standards
- Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
- Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
- Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
- Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy

WHAT YOU NEED

- A valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 4 years
- No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
- A proven track record of effective people management
- Previous supervisory experience within the logistics sector
- Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
- Great communication skills
- Forklift licence is desirable
