Operation Executive

**ABOUT US**

Travel Europe Edinburgh: Rob Roy Tours Ltd is a successful and well-established tour operator in Musselburgh, Scotland. We organises hiking and coach tour packages in the UK and Ireland.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In order to be successful in this role, you need to be a team-player and a quick learner with good common sense. You must be meticulous, with a good eye for detail, self-confident, flexible and adaptable. You should show initiative and be able to work without supervision.

Fluency in French/ German or Spanish a must. Excellent administrative and communication skills required, as well as a passion for outstanding customer service.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaising with guides, tourist attractions, coach companies and customers to ensure that everything is organised efficiently.
- General administrative tasks, including writing invoices and preparing payments.
- Quoting tour programs ad hoc.

**ESSENTIAL**
- Experience in working in a busy tourism environment.
- Good knowledge of Scotland and the tourism industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box
- Confidence working in a versatile and fast paced environment
- Team player, happy to help out wherever necessary.
- Fluent in one of these languages: French, Spanish or German

This is a full-time position. Flexible hybrid working. There will be occasional evening and weekend duties during the season (including an emergency phone on a rotational basis).
