**Type**: Permanent, full time (Mon-Fri)
Russell-Taylor group have an exciting new opportunity for a sales professional. We are looking for a Business Development Associate to join a sales team for a scientific testing company based in the Manchester area. If you have scientific background andhave previously worked in sales, then this role could be just what you're looking for
The role:
- Handling for incoming sales enquiries from clients, maintaining a high level of service and client satisfaction
- Liaise with lab staff to ensure that client needs are met, and subsequently prepare quotes
- Identify business development opportunities with new and existing clients and make calls to develop new quotes
- Nurture client relationships to ensure future opportunities and the cost of sales is minimised
- Use systems and tools such as LIMS
- Work closely with marketing to develop lead generation and campaigns, highlighting company values and distinguishing the company from competitors
The person:
- Previously worked in sales
- Have previous scientific experience e.g BSc or worked in a lab
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate to various levels within organisations
- Great communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Lab/scientific experience would be beneficial
