**IT/ Technology Governance Audit Analyst**

I am delighted to announce that on of my Birmingham based Global clients are recruiting for an exciting role in their Technology Governance function

The role will be based out of the Birmingham office but will operate on a hybrid model (2 days a week in office)

**What you will do as the IT/Technology Governance Audit Analyst**:
To support the Technology Governance Manager in maintaining all aspects of Technology Audit and Compliance. This role will support the Technology Governance framework by ensuring compliance against our business and regulatory requirements. It is essential thatthe Technology Services department is meeting its obligations from a risk, regulatory and contractual perspective so effective support is required to ensure that the team can progress in this area.

The Technology Governance team is part of their wider Business Change team, so is at the forefront of understanding new initiatives that could impact the compliance profile for the department.

**Some of the key duties as the IT/ Technology Governance Audit Analyst include**:

- Administer and maintain centralised policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and templates library for Technology Services
- Create and maintain templates for Technology Services policies and SOPs
- Provide support with coordinating Internal and external (accreditational, client and vendor) audits
- Participate in and administrate the Security Audits Community of Practice meetings and follow-up on agreed actions
- Work with the relevant partners to assess any changes to audit requirements and clearly communicate these in a timely manner with the relevant Technology Services teams
- Work with Technology Services technical teams to deliver positive outcome of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and other external/internal audits

**The knowledge and experience essential to be a good fit for this role are**:

- Experience of audit and compliance processes
- Previous experience of Microsoft Office product suite and operating systems
- Experience of working with quality controls, ISO standards or Cyber Essentials
- Working knowledge of current IT technologies and understanding of industry practices

**Qualifications**
- GCSE Maths and English
- Internal Auditor QMS qualification ideal

- Resilient, strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing business and technical priorities
