We have a fantastic opportunity for a Office Manager at a Leading Local Authority in Greater Manchester. This is a full-time role for the next 7 months.

**The Role**

Your role will be to coordinate resources to provide an effective and comprehensive business support function across adult social care, ensuring excellent support to front line service delivery through the provision of higher-level administration dutiesand management of the business support teams.

**Duties**

Provide leadership for the Business Support Service and customer relationships for designated teams.

Work collectively with other Business Support Co-ordinators to ensure that service pressures relating to absence, vacancies or workload pressures can be effectively covered through a peripatetic function and deployment of staff.

Ensure key functions relating to operational delivery, such as adult social care panel and management meetings, are supported, minuted and resourced.

To develop and maintain effective working relationships in order to understand service requirements and effectively meet business support needs.

Undertake higher level administration duties/tasks, to provide a highly effective support service.

Manage the business support service, across adult social care, with day to day accountability for the service provided.

**Key Requirements**
- Must have previous Office Manager experience
- Strong IT Skills, as you will be inputting important information onto internal systems
- Excellent Telephone manner
- Must have experience in minute taking
- Excellent people skills, being able to talk to the public, clients, colleagues, and other senior professionals.
