**Tail Lift Fitter**
A workshop based position in Oldbury, West Midlands

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Full time, Permanent position

Our client, a West-Midlands based award-winning company, are one of the UK’s leading commercial vehicle body builders. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hard-working and reliable tail lift fitter to join this established, experienced, and friendly team.

With a 4 day working week as standard, opportunities for overtime readily available & excellent rates of pay, this 40+ years established company is home to many industry specialists & experts in the vehicle body building field and are looking forward to growing the existing team.

Please see below for the knowledge and experience this position requires:
- **Duties include**:

- Install Tuckaway Tail Lifts
- Install CantiLever Tail Lifts
- Install Column Tail Lifts
- Install Slider Tail Lifts
- Repairing and replacing faulty componentry (parts etc)
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Manage your time to ensure installations are completed within given hours
- Conduct regular fitment audits and validate
- Capable of progressing to a trainer for all young apprentices.
- Maintain accurate record of stock levels relevant to your department.
- Develop and improve methods of installation

**Experience required includes**:

- Relevent industy experiance
- Able to read and follow fitting instructions.
- relevant electrical instillation knowledge
- Experience working on HGV and LCV Class vehicles.
- High attention to detail

**Additional Information**:

- 4 Day working week Hours are: 7.00am - 5.00pm (Monday to Thursday)
- Overtime is available on Fridays and weekends according to business requirements.
