GCU require a **Supervisor - Reinstatement** to join our team working in the Newcastle/Gateshead/North Tyneside area.

You will be responsible for the quality of reinstatement / resurfacing carried out by the tar teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- To ensure that all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered at the work locations allocated to you
- Monitor company systems for work tasks raised and allocate work tasks for the following day to each of the teams
- Order sufficient tar amounts for the work tasks being carried out the following day
- Carry out inspections before work is carried out to ensure actual work to be carried out matches orders and any variations recorded on company systems
- Manage the tar teams to make good any defects on completed works
- Update company systems through an Ipad with completed works to allow for payments to be processed.
- Streetworks Card (NRSWA) - Ideally at Supervisor level
- Knowledge of the Quality levels expected by councils in the Northeast of England.
- Driving Licence is a necessity.
- Experience of being part of a tar team work on multiple sites daily
- The ability to manage teams effectively.

Hours of work will be Mon - Fri 7.00am to 5.00pm and every second Saturday.

The successful applicant will receive a competitive basic salary, company vehicle and fuel card.
