An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Head of FM and Capital Projects to join their welcoming team.

**The Head of FM and Capital Projects Role**:
To lead, manage and direct the strategy and internal governance for the delivery of facilities building management (FM) and capital projects across the organisation and its partner services.

To lead, manage and direct the strategy and internal governance for the delivery of corporate health and safety (CH&S), emergency planning and business continuity across the organisation and its partner services.

**What Head of FM and Capital Projects Will Need**:

- CIWFM or similar professional accreditation
- Significant experience of working in local/central government/public
- Significant experience of working/negotiating directly with senior staff and external partners
- Significant experience of leading complex corporate and service projects
- Experience of presenting Committee reports
- Significant experience of developing and implementing strategies and plans to improve service delivery and property assets
- Financial management experience, including experience of directly managing budgets
- Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in respect of facilities management and health and safety
- Experience of project management, including managing business processes and analysis
- Demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing local Government
