**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Stores and Purchasing Coordinator who is customer focused, a good communicator with a professional and positive approach to their work, along with the ability to use parts allocation software to manage inventoryand costs.

Working as the Stores and Purchasing Coordinator you will be required to support the Purchasing & Stores Manager on a day-to-day basis in all aspects of purchasing and inventory management to support a busy production facility.

You will communicate with customers face to face, over the phone and online to ensure the correct parts are delivered in the required timescales, as well as communicating with suppliers regularly to ensure clarity of deliveries is maintained.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as a Stores and Purchasing Coordinator will include:

- Raising purchase orders for goods
- Sourcing quotations from suppliers and sourcing the most cost effective and suitable solution
- Managing the timescale of incoming deliveries
- Managing digital and paper records of goods received
- Managing digital records and job cards of materials issued to production
- Unloading and correct storage of deliveries
- Updating of the Ecommerce site
- Communicating with suppliers regularly to ensure clarity of deliveries is maintained
- Communicating with customers face to face, over the phone and online to ensure the correct parts are delivered in the required timescales
- Advertising for parts sales
- Issuing of Health & Safety items and recording accordingly in the relevant H&S folder
- Purchasing of tools for production & management of their entry onto the shop floor (tooling registers)
- Data entry into production files (Master Jobs Files)
- Prep goods for dispatch
- Day to day stock control and rotation

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in dealing with customers essential
- FLT license required
- Professional in approach and a good clear communicator
- Strong team working ethic
- Good IT skills in Microsoft, Excel / Word & Outlook
- Able to use parts allocation software to manage inventory and costs
- To be able to work under pressure and still having an eye for detail
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work accurately with mínimal supervision and to follow specific instructions
- Good team worker with a positive attitude to all situations
- Professional, with integrity. Trustworthy & honest
