**Main Purpose of job**

To coordinate the data and insights for the Learning department across qualitative and quantitative data including financial, statistical, narrative, and administrative fields to ensure that data drives decision-making and is aligned with the data insight work of the Audiences division. This includes collating visitor figures across audiences, entering data in dashboards, and coordinating the assignments of events assistants. The post also has responsibility for coordinating budgets and financial reporting, and supports the Director of Young V&A, Learning & National Programmes with financial planning. It also manages the reporting on visitor engagement and the development of new systems and policies to support the work of the division and coordinates the team of external contractors.

**Responsibilities**

Support teams in the planning and delivery of the programme, researching, planning, and developing content under the supervision of the Head of Learning and Digital Programmes including development and implementation of data management systems.

Input, monitor and report regularly on team budgets, using V&A financial systems.

Responsible for processing orders, invoices and temporary staff claims and updating related spreadsheets. Maintain timely and accurate records for numbers of Learners that have participated in events and assist with the evaluation of programme.

Manage the staffing allocation of Learning programmes in line with museum policies, which may include recruiting, booking, and onboarding zero hours or contract workers to deliver events.

Collect, monitor, and analyse visitor engagement figures for Learning and Digital Programmes, prepare reports and update summaries for the Director of Young V&A, Learning and National Programmes. Coordinate and submit quarterly reports to Finance for DCMS.

Support the Director of Young V&A, Learning and National Programmes with financial planning and act as the first point of contact for finance queries.

Coordinate and lead on departmental returns including budget holder reports, reforecast exercises, budget setting and returns for year end. Oversee the management of core and restricted funds across Learning and Digital Programmes.

Work with the Head of Learning and Digital Programmes to review and develop systems and policies to ensure the safe delivery of existing and future programmes.

Please note this is for a 3 Months FTC - The secondment opportunity is open to internal staff on contracts, but also to Zero Hour Workers, Volunteers and Contract for Services staff.
