Responsibilities:

- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe and dry pets, including proper handling and restraint techniques
- Perform nail trims and ear cleaning
- Assess the overall health of pets and report any abnormalities to pet owners
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Animal care: Knowledge of different breeds, their specific grooming needs, and behavior traits
- Veterinary: Basic understanding of pet health, common ailments, and ability to recognize signs of distress or illness
- Customer service: Ability to communicate effectively with pet owners, listen to their needs, and provide appropriate recommendations
- Heavy lifting: Capable of lifting and restraining pets of various sizes and weights during grooming procedures.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
