Daytime Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within our School. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff children and visitors. The hours will be 10.30 am to 2pm Monday to Friday, This position includes a 3 weeks deep clean shared over Easter and summer holidays. DBS certificate is required for immediate start

- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, Sanitising all areas, cleaning toilets, replenishing toilet rolls, hand towels etc
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, be on call the whole shift
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies are running low
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
- Respond to requests for cleaning assistance from staff members
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Pay: £11.44 per hour
