As a Cleaning Team Leader with ISS U,K you will play a key part in delivering a world class housekeeping service, maintaining the highest quality and consistency for our customers and colleagues.

In this role, you will support the Area Supervisor and Soft Services Manager to meet and exceed targets on all performance aspects and to be responsible for the day-to-day liaison of the service with the cleaning teams.

**The Role**

Responsible for:

- All aspects of the cleaning operation on nominated sites allocated under your area of responsibility
- Reporting all absenteeism and general feedback
- Supporting and guiding operatives to achieve service levels
- Regular checks and cleaning to specified areas
- Responding to cleaning requests as required or requested via help desk, Area Supervisor or Soft Services Manager
- Periodic carpet cleaning and deep cleaning as per specification

Key Responsibilities:

- To provide direction, guidance, and support to all ISS staff and to ensure they can carry out their role effectively.
- Complete all relevant documentation and maintain accurate records for company systems including, sickness procedures, quality monitoring, training, and staff performance monitoring.
- To create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with all work colleagues.
- Ensure that all staff within the service use all mechanical and electrical equipment in a correct and safe manner, using appropriate methods of work and complying with training and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
- To maintain a healthy, safe, and secure working environment in line with current legislation and Company policies and procedures.
- To deal with any incidents or complaints speedily and effectively within Company and client procedures.
- To be an active member of the team and participate in the continuous development of the overall service provision.

- Previous experience in supervising a cleaning service contract
- Knowledge of equipment and Health and Safety
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude
- A team player who works well with customers and colleagues
- Be able to communicate with all site users in a polite manner
- Have a good eye for detail and clean to an exceptional standard
