1:1 Home Tutor (GCSE)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the national curriculum and cater to the unique learning needs of each student.
- Assess and regularly monitor the progress of your students, adjusting your teaching methods to maximise their learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student progress and address any concerns.
- Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Previous experience as a Home Tutor, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Has experience supporting students with SEMH/SEN/BEHAVIOURAL NEEDS
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student.

The working hours for this position are flexible and can be tailored to your availability. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, we can accommodate your schedule. The role includes 1 to 2 hours of planning time per student, depending on the length of tutoring sessions. This role is term time only / school hours apply.

Expected hours: 6 - 36 per week
