The Role: Freight Administrator

Hourly Rate: £12.68phr (£24,726 per annum)

Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8am-1.30pm

Location: Swadlincote

Status: Temporary to Permanent

Working with a great team of people ensuring all goods arrive to the correct destination at the right time, following global guidelines in improvements and cost control.

The Role:

- Perform freight assignments
- Make sure all necessary documents are sent together with the shipment
- Make sure authorities receive all necessary Transport information concerning export/import declarations
- Evaluate the best available transport to use based upon quality and cost
- Archive and save transport/customs documentation.
- Responsible for updating Customer Internet Portals for freight admin related tasks on projects where needed
- Invoice process in M3
- Medius, invoice control and distribution of cost
- Report to Global Transport Manager, statistics and numbers as required
- Main contact person for transport companies and have follow-up meetings. Together with procurement department overview the agreements.
- Continuous improvement work - Drive and be a part of developing the ways of working.

Contract length: 3 months
