Memorials Assistant

£24,496 pa

We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious team member to join Bereavement Services. Your duties will include:

- Inspecting the safety of memorial stones in the Borough’s cemeteries and closed churchyards;
- Assisting with the inspection of new memorial stones;
- Providing cover for other operational areas of the service;
- Interacting with clergy, celebrants, funeral directors, bereaved families and memorial stonemasons in an emotionally challenging setting.

We are committed to providing you with all the necessary training, support and guidance you will need. In return, you will be committed to the efficient and effective provision of the service, be an enthusiastic team-player who is keen to learn and develop your knowledge and skills and have a flexible approach to work.
