**Overview**:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT Systems & Networking Level 3 Apprenticeship.

**Duties**:

- Working with the existing IT Service Desk Team of five
- Helping to support the Faculty’s 120 staff and 450 Advocates with account issues, printing support, Wi-Fi issues, web conferencing, laptop/desktop and mobile telephony issues
- Working primarily in a Windows environment however we also support BYOD Apple Macs
- The role will be fully supported with one-to-one training from the Head of the IT Support team and the Head of IT
- Developing your interpersonal skills as well as your technical knowledge

**Desirable skills**:

- Logical thinkers with great problem solving skills
- Great people / team work skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Always display a “customer first" attitude
- Some basic IT skills such as using Microsoft 365 and Teams
- Commitment to the apprenticeship opportunity with the aim to progress into a more senior role after completion of the apprenticeship

**Salary**:
£9,609.60 - £13,631.80 per annum.

**Working week**:
Monday - Friday,
9.00am until 5.00pm,
35hrs a week.

**Future prospects**:
This will discussed at the end of the fixed term contract. (12 months)
