Bar Supervisor

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic bar supervisor to provide our customers with a memorable experience at our incredible town centre, waterside location.

The RCYC welcomes members, non-members, sailors, non-sailors and everyone who loves to spend time on or by the water. You will be meeting new guests and welcoming return customers, as such you will be focal to enhancing the customer experience and to growing our customer base. This is a great opportunity for you to develop the business and the role in a new direction.

You must be able to engage with customers confidently, develop customer relationships, be able to answer questions about the products, have cellar management experience and enjoy a dedicated customer facing role.

Attention to detail is critical, from cleanliness of the club, presentation of the drink offering and dealing with customer requests under pressure

You will be expected to make incredible drinks consistently, communicate well with colleagues as well as liaise with the independent kitchen team to offer a seamless service style

We would love you to have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and be able to keep a clean and organised working environment whilst actively looking to improve all elements of the bar offering and customer experience.

Previous experience is a must with a customer-orientated approach to service. Excellent people skills, attention to detail, problem solving, cash handling, a responsible attitude and trustworthiness are all requirements.

Working patterns are around the needs of the business and you will be expected to work weekends. You must be able to travel to and from work independently.

This is a permanent position with the opportunity for the right person to make both the bar and the job their own.
