**Descripción**

The Front Desk Manager is a people person. Your department is the first and last impression guests have of our hotel. You set the tone. That means your main role is to make sure our hosts are well-trained, warm and friendly and that they provide a speedy, efficient check-in and check-out service for guests. You’ll also troubleshoot emergencies and handle guest complaints. This role is a full time role to include evening and weekend work. Own transport is essential.

What you’ll do
- Be professional, warm, friendly and polite to everyone
- Set the standard for guest service, leading from the front and ensuring our high standards are maintained
- Ensure all our room arrivals are checked prior to arrival
- Manage and train the concierge, night auditor and team of hosts
- Ensure the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for guests
- Deal with guests, including handling complaints when they come to the desk
- Troubleshoot emergencies
- Scheduling your staff rota
- Liaising with other departments
- Assist with all Front of House operations when required to ensure our guest expectations are met and exceeded. This includes helping in other departments to ensure our guests are happy
- Lead, monitor and motivate the Front of House team
- Monitor our guest feedback, picking up on trends and identifying anything that might require attention

What you offer
- 2 years departmental management experience
- A bright, enthusiastic and helpful personality
- Good telephone skills
- Diplomacy and communication skills to handle any complaints and emergencies in a level-headed manner
- The ability to multitask and manage your time
- The confidence to make prompt and reasonable decisions
