**POSITION**: Residential Childcare Worker (Residential Children’s Home)

**HOURS**: 40 Hours per week

**START DATE**: ASAP

**Your tasks will be**:
**Teaching independence**

Using life skills, you will assist with the care of our children and young people, including practical aspects such as cooking and cleaning.

**Creating memories**

Take part in a range of interesting recreational events, including holidays where appropriate.

**Building relationships**

You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.

**Giving Structure**

Consistency and organisation skills are key. You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people.

**Building Structure**

You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.

**We need you to have**

Driving License

Level 3 Residential Childcare

**Salary**: £20,948.00-£22,785.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Loyalty bonus
- Performance bonus
- Signing bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southend-on-Sea: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (required)
