The role is a new position created to help support the organisation deliver critical milestones in their Packaging Change Programme.
The Supply Chain Project Planner will be heavily focused on data to support the supply intelligence for the business to attain 100% supply adherence and changeover schedules to meet the demand for the global customers.
The Packaging Supply Chain Project Planner 6M FTC role based in Leeds with Hybrid working with two days at home. The organisation is a leading fast-paced, multi-channel, multi-category consumer business.
Working cross functionally with key departments such as the Senior Management Teams, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Procurement / Purchasing, Logistics and related stakeholders, the Packaging Supply Chain Project Planner will be accountable for accurateinformation sharing to ensure smooth delivery of the project milestones.
You will take the lead for the overall coordination in the Supply Chain function and take ownership for the primary work streams:
~ Planning the phase in / phase out at SKU level for the new packaging formats
~ Master data set-up & checking
~ Stakeholder interfacing across multiple departments.
To be successful in the role you'll need o forge excellent working partnerships with key stakeholders, identify key data sets that will help you present factual information to engage your audiences and have confidence in your communication to influence people.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Engage with Supply Chain Operations to understand key objective of the programme
+ Identify key stakeholders across the programme that you need to interface with
+ Analyse data metrics and drive appropriate discussions to improve data
+ Liaise with internal customers on demand needs
+ Provide a link between all departments to ensure clear lines of communication to coordinate the desired outcomes.
+ Maintain good relationships across the business
+ Ensure change requests are understood and actioned in the correct and timely manner
Knowledge & Experience:
+ Degree Qualified, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering related discipline
+ Previous Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning, Forecasting experience
+ MRP experience
+ Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation or Warehousing
+ Strong analytical and cost calculation skills
+ Good interpersonal skills with a 'can-do' attitude
+ Excellent organisation skills
+ Excellent competence in MS Office particularly Excel

**Salary**:
PRO ROTA £40,000 - £45,000 depending experience + package
