**Gates Company Profile**:
**Basic Purpose and Function and responsibility.**
- Assembling and crimping of high-pressure and low-pressure flexible hoses.
- Routinely communicate with your supervisor in order to gain directives, discuss decisions and action plans, whilst sharing information
- Execute the plan in accordance with scheduling.
- To carry out all operations in line with cycle times
- Ensuring they are assembling in line with SOP’s and working practices.
- Responsible for the quality of work carried out
- Working with engineers in the production of R & E projects
- Operating all related equipment
- Test Pumps
- Crimper
- Ensuring compliance with all HSE regulations and company policies.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement programmes such as 5S
- Any other duties as required by your supervisor.
- Data recording
- TPM Sheets
- Pre-use check sheets (Cranes, Forklifts, and equipment)
- Housekeeping logs
- Test Chart recordings
- May be required to work off site for hose management contracts

**Quality**
- To comply with ISO 9001 & API Q1 standards ensuring that all works data is sufficiently recorded and updated, and all work procedures are kept and adhered to.
- To ensure all product manufactured is to the agreed specification / acceptable standard.
- Adhere to all hold point requirements.

**Safety**
- To comply with company Health & Safety standards and company policies.
- To wear, always, correct PPE

**Work Schedule**
- Either dayshift, 2 shift, 3 shift or any other shift pattern as required by the business needs

**Education/Experience** (minimum required)
