We are a well-established Preston based family owned builder’s merchant.

**We are looking for a new member of our team to work as a Yard Assistant**

**It's a full time position **you will be rewarded with a competitive salary. The working hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm and Some Saturdays 8am-12:30pm

The job will involve daily use of fork lift and telehandler driving, loading and unloading deliveries, serving customers in the yard, manual lifting and general yard work.

Essential Requirements
- Clean driving license
- Forklift/Teletruck license or experience
- Professional appearance
- Able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Able to keep warehouse, work area and vehicle clean and tidy
- Able to prepare stock for deliveries

Non Essential, but Desired Skills
- Knowledge of building/fencing/landscaping products
- Knowledge of the local area

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
