Warehouse Cleaner

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Cleaner/Yard Operative for our client based in Braintree on a temporary to permanent basis.

You will contribute to the success of the site by supporting in the day-to-day cleanliness and housekeeping of the warehouse and assisting with other warehouse duties.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Keep the warehouse/yard areas clean and tidy
- Check for damaged items or open products
- Checking the equipment is in good working order
- Making sure all stored pallets are safe and secure
- Tidying and stacking empty pallets and removing from the warehouses
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- Other general warehouse duties

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience**:

- Must be familiar with manual handling
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Good numeracy and IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- Work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
- Applies experience and logic

In return our client is offering £10.00 per hour.

Working hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
