SuttonInAshfield, United Kingdom Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are developing a new Triage Core Team and are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 midwives with extensive experience in all aspects of midwifery, with a special interest in developing a new core maternity triage team. The Core Team will be working with The Birmingham Symptom-Specific Obstetric Triage System (BSOTS). BSOTS aims to conduct an initial standardized assessment of each woman to identify her presenting condition, key clinical symptoms, and physiological indicators.

We are a small unit with a dedicated maternity triage department, and we are looking for highly skilled, motivated, and passionate individuals to work within this team. An excellent understanding of all aspects of midwifery care is vital, with a specific interest in a triage setting. The provision of seamless maternal care and well-being for all women, regardless of the level of medical risk, is at the forefront of our practice.

Our Trust has excellent standards of care, and we are constantly striving to improve and grow alongside service needs. You will be joining a highly motivated and driven team; it is essential that you are passionate about midwifery care with a niche interest in triage and the ability to work within a small core team and thrive in an adrenaline-filled environment.
