Produce and Arable Operator

**The Opportunity**: _Join a friendly and dedicated team and play a key part within a thriving fruit and arable farm. _We are searching for an experienced farm operator, who holds a strong background and knowledge in agricultural and/or fruit farming principles. A loyal and flexible team player, you will be happy to turn your hand to various tasks to maintain the ongoing success of this business. Working from our client’s site in Perthshire, you will work effectively within a team who are all focussed on growing and producing the highest quality produce.
**The Company**:A family-owned business, growing a variety of soft fruit and cereals. A business with a rich history spanning multiple generations, continuing to revolutionise the way they grow and deliver the highest quality produce to the customer.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- To work within a dedicated team, responsible for routine crop management and harvesting practices
- To follow quality control measures to ensure the production of high quality fruit and crops
- To operate a variety of farm machinery and equipment
- To work together with the team to support irrigation and routine tractor work
- To regularly check and maintain machinery and operating equipment
- To follow procedures, making sure industry requirements and food safety standards are met
**Skills you will need**:
- Essential:_
- Previous experience in farm operations, preferably within produce and/or arable
- Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong team player with the ability to solve problems
- Experience in operating and maintaining farm machinery
- Driven and committed with a positive mindset
- A strong work ethic, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
