School Counsellor

Ysgol Friars are seeking to appoint an Integrative Counsellor to facilitate and provide a therapeutic space for our pupils. This will include one to one support where students can be supported to overcome personal barriers that are detrimental to their well-being and attainment. The post holder will be an excellent communicator, have a firm understanding of safeguarding and personal boundaries and, be innovative in the approach to providing safe spaces to vulnerable pupils.
The post holder will be a member of the BACP and will have experience of working within the BACP ethical framework. They will have a flexible approach to the working environment and be able to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
