The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.

**We are currently recruiting for Heritage Bricklayer to join our Truly Talented team.**

The Elvetham Hotel is a prestigious Grade II listed hotel known for its rich history and architectural significance. We are committed to preserving the heritage and beauty of our property.

Location: Elvetham, Hampshire

**Job Type**: Part-Time or Full-Time will be considered.

**Job Overview**:
If you have level 1 & 2 Bricklaying, we would be willing to train so you can gain your level 3 in Bricklaying.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carefully repointing and restoring the facade of the hotel.
- Making good, damaged bricks, matching historical techniques and materials.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to plan and execute restorative works.
- Ensuring all work complies with heritage and conservation guidelines.
- Advising on best practices for maintaining the building's historical integrity.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in working on heritage and listed buildings.
- Thorough understanding of traditional bricklaying techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with the challenges of working on Grade II listed structures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to preserving historical accuracy.
