As part of our continuous growth plan, our client’s Insurance team are looking to expand their office based near Glasgow. They are now looking for a Senior Commercial Broker to develop alongside our business, whilst providing a quality service to clients covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements.
Role Responsibilities:
- Commercial renewals up to £350,000 GWP
- Mid-term adjustments
- New business broking between 50k-500k GWP
- Liaising with regional director and the new business team to retain renewal and win new business
- Dealing with client day to day on queries and enquiries
Skills & Experience:
- Good knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to both commercial and private customers is essential
- Good knowledge of general insurance and its underlying legal principles
- Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload to ensure deadlines are adhered
- Ability to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers
- Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of underwriting and related issues through formal and informal learning
