Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Trainee Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Biochemistry within the Department of Blood Sciences at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

24/7 working, including night working, is a compulsory part of this post.

**Under the supervision of a HCPC registered member of staff**:

- To collect evidence in support of the training portfolio competency requirements. Ensure completed training is signed off by a senior member of staff and training manuals are available for review by departmental training officer.
- To maintain a high standard of Health & Safety.
- To maintain a high standard of quality assurance of all test procedures.
- To comply with the departments Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
