Lost Wax Operator
**SALARY**:
**£11.00 per hour**

**DEPARTMENT**:
39 HOURS A WEEK - However, Part Time work will be considered

MON - WED 07:30 - 16:30

THURS - 07:30 - 16:00

FRIDAY - 07:30 - 13:00

**REPORTS TO**:
**Lost Wax Team Leader**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
We are looking to recruit highly motivated General Operatives to join our Wax Room who are willing to learn and develop in a manufacturing environment.

The role will involve working as part of a team; demonstrating flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills.

Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing environment producing small parts and operating machinery is not essential, as full training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assembling wax patterns, operating machinery, and ensuring customer quality standards are always maintained.
- Accurately complete Production Cards accompanying each job, clearly identifying scrap or non-conformities.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely
- Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition
- Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work

You should be:

- An enthusiastic individual with a can do attitude
- Hands-on and not afraid to get stuck in
- Have a good understanding of health and safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

**Previous experience/Key requirements**:

- Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing environment desired
- Ability to compute percentages, proportions, perform basic mathematics calculations
- Will maintain a neat and organized work area
- Working with safety in mind at all times and comply with EHS policies

**Special Skills/ Aptitudes**
- Ability to foresee the possibility of a risk occurring
- Hardworking and detail-oriented individual.
- Ability to work in a team and independently as and when required.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently handle pressure and still keep working schedules.
- Ability to take instruction
- Demonstrate the ability to lift heavy objects.
