We are looking for exceptional people to join us on our journey as we continue to grow and expand our offering to pets here in the UK. These are exciting times for IPN as we are the number one manufacturer in the UK for dry dog food, and we are expanding fast into new categories.
**Typical responsibilities will include**:

- Loading trailers and shunts, ensuring procedures are followed and required paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all vehicles are inspected and signed off prior to loading, and that completed loads are fit for dispatch, cost effective and efficient.
- Completing daily, weekly and monthly stock checks and rotation practices as and when required.
- Following rules on warehouse space allocation and the use of any external storage facilities to optimise resource and ensure efficient distribution operations.
- Ensuring that the highest level of quality is maintained throughout the production process, through compliance with relevant Food Safety legislation, standards and requirements.
- Understanding and complying with Health & Safety and Food Quality requirements; including recognising the critical control points identified through HACCP and ensuring they are in operation at all times. Any product which fails critical Food Safety or quality issues must be identified, controlled and raised with the QA Team.
- Minimising waste of raw materials, products, packaging, chemicals and water whilst undertaking duties within the packing and distribution departments.
- Follow a strict ‘clean as you go’ policy at all times.

When you join us, you will go through our structured induction and training programme. This will include information on the regulations of Food Safety legislation amongst other things to help you succeed in your role. As your skill set grows, you will have opportunities to increase your salary.

- You must have excellent attention to detail in order to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths.
- You must be available to work on a rotational shift pattern.
- Due to our location, it’s essential that you have your own transport, as the site isn’t accessible via public transport.

**What are we offering?**
**Salary**:£24,984 - rising to £27,103 within 12 months
**Overtime up to 12 hours pw**:£17.16 ph
**Overtime after 12 hours pw**:£22.88 ph
**Hours**:42 hours per week
**Pension Scheme**:NEST pension scheme Employee contributions 5% / Employer contribution 3%
**Holidays**:25 days (Pro Rata) + Bank Holidays in lieu
