**Buyer**

We are currently working with a leading employer of choice and due to continued growth, they require an experienced Buyer to join their team.

**The Role**:

- Managing stock levels and maintain good supply of stock
- Negotiating prices and lead times with suppliers
- Chasing up on any late deliveries
- Ensure price files are kept accurate and up to date
- Monitoring costs and continuously working to drive prices down
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
- Handling of delivery paperwork
- Resolve any price disputes
- Other relevant duties

**Essential Criteria**
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work both alone and alongside a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
