**About the Company**

My Client is a specialist in Design, Fabrication and Installation of lightweight steel framing systems, who are notably part of wider construction group with a well-known brand in the residential market. This division churns out 25 tonnes of steel a month and has an impressive turnover circa £20m working directly for their parent company. On the fabrication side they have an impressive 8000 sq ft workshop with state of the art machinery.

**About the role**

Due to company growth, my client is looking to expand their procurement team and are in the market a Buyer / Purchasing Manager with a minimum of 3 years buying experience. In this role your responsibilities will include procuring project materials within the budget and project timescale in addition to negotiating new supplier agreements. You will also be expected to raise purchase orders and highlight any design changes ensuring they are re-costed appropriately. While not getting stuck in to this, you will be liaising with project manager and designers when appropriate. You will need to have an understanding of end to end supplier management processes. You will need to show the ability to interpret a technical drawing, understand the requirements and then work with our supplier to source the required parts or materials.

**Salary/ Benefits**

Salary will be in the region of 40,000 - £50,000 + Hybrid Working Company events, Company pension, Discounted or free food, Free parking, Health & wellbeing programme and On-site parking. **Requirements**:
Our client is looking at buyers who have previous experience working in the construction industry in a similar role as well as inventory management experience. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under your own initiative as well as within a team.
