Recycling Operative

**About The Role**

We are currently looking to recruit a Recycling Operative for our site in Crick to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This will be a day shift role 06:00 - 18:00

You must be flexible to work any day of the week dependant on business needs

The main purpose of the role is to carry out recycling of mainly cardboard and plastic waste streams.

**The key responsibilities of the role are**:

- Carry out daily and weekly waste removal and recycling tasks as required
- Recycling and disposal of all waste packaging
- Operate baling equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the yard area
- Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
- Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site specific clothing as directed
- Be aware of environmental responsibilities and procedures.
- Report all environmental issues to the Site Supervisor as soon as possible
- Liaise with external contractors on site for removal of waste and recyclable product
- To be responsible for leaving the recycling area clean and tidy at the end of each shift
