We are looking to recruit a Legal Officer to support a wide range of legal work such as advising on contracts and grant agreements, governance and decision making, conflicts of interest, subsidy control, procurement law, companies, and information management.

Prior local government experience is desirable but not essential.

The current areas of work of the team which are relevant to this post are:

- Support to capital scheme projects
- Procurement
- Contracts, contract management and dispute resolution
- TUPE and pensions
- Governance and decision making
- Information management
- Conflicts of Interest
- Subsidy Control

The post holder will work in a specified Council office and may also work from home on an occasional or more frequent basis.

Many services and customers span across the Borough and therefore you may be required to work at any location in Cheshire West and Chester.
