Role 1 - Due to continued expansion we are looking for one further staff member to join our team within IC, working from our Weston-super-Mare paint shop which can be found just outside of Junction 21. For this role we are looking to recruit a time skilled recruit only who can deliver very high standards of working, our services support a variety of interests specializing in both modern and vintage fleet vehicle solutions.

Experience is essential, leading rates of pay offered for those who provide experience & reliability to the role.

Role 2 - You will be required to work to a very high standard and deliver high end results, this role offers the chance to work on a range of vehicles with a age profile of 1930s through to the modern day, the role will be focusing on the high end delivery of commercial vehicles and the chance to be involved in the painting of race team vehicles through to vintage vehicles, this is a exciting role which offers career progression.

Working hours:
Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00 with overtime possible

Friday 07:30-1500

Workshop shutdown at Christmas with further terms discussed.

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes to ensure a smooth finish
- Mix paint and other materials to achieve the desired colour and texture
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:

- Experience working as a Painter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Mechanical knowledge to fabricate or assemble structures if required
- Familiarity with basic maths for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for colour matching
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
