**POST**:Exams Assistant**

**REPORTS TO**:Exams Manager**

**RESPONSIBLE FOR: Exams Assistants and Invigilators**

**GRADE: 3, Scale Point, 3-6**

**SALARY: Starting at £26,499.00 with progression to £27,360.00 per annum, including London Weighting**

**HOURS**:36 hours, full time**

**CONTRACT: Permanent**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

To assist the exams manager and to ensure the effective running and delivery of all examinations.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. **To maintain up-to-date knowledge of awarding body requirements and exam regulations

**2. **To assist with any issues relating to the examinations process either from students or staff in line with policies and procedures

**3. **To act as the lead invigilator during exams, dealing with any queries from invigilators and ensuring the college is compliant with the rules and regulations

**4. **To assist with data entry for both the MIS team

**5. **To assist with administration around certificates, including distribution (awards evening) and logging of destroyed certificates

**6. **To assist with the collation and dispatch of exam papers to awarding bodies, in line with awarding body regulations.

**7. **To perform Ad hoc tasks as directed by exams officer or MIS Manager

**8. **To be professional and work to a high standard

**9. **To assist with MIS tasks, such as enrolment processes, induction and others when required

**10. **To assist with any requests for data from other stakeholders

- To undertake any other duties consistent with the key responsibilities and/or duties of the post.
